Alright, now that I am actually well-rested and I feel normal again, I'm going to start blogging a little more. Instead of writing about how I am feeling or something dumb like that, I'm going to talk about a topic that I feel strongly about, and I will go where my tongue makes me.
Ok, so first I will begin with the War in Afghanistan. Although I demonstrate and encourage support our troops in Afghanistan, I disapprove of the war. However, that is no reason to turn our back against our troops. Those men and women are fighting courageously for something they truely believe in. They want to keep us safe and happy here in America, and so they are keeping the fight over there. It's not their fault that they are fighting a disputed war. Like I said before, they only want to keep us safe. They might also be fighting for money to support their families in the United States, or possibly to support a mother or father on life support without any insurance. The thing is, you can't imagine or guess why any one person is in the military, because there are countless situations with complications that they could be in. They might do it for the money, or they might do it for a cause above themselves. I wouldn't do it for the money, because, honestly, the money isn't as great as people make it sound in the military. Many soldiers and service members do it for all of our protection; they do it to keep the wolves at bay in the forests so we don't have to in our village, where our children, families, and businesses are.
Now, granted, there are bound to be some bad seeds in the military, whether they be murderers or rapists. But the question is for many, what differenciates between a murderer and a soldier? Both kill, so would that mean that a soldier is a murderer? No, it does and it does not. If a soldier kills for the pleasure of killing, then the soldier may be classified as a murderer. However, if a soldier kills to prevent deaths, deaths of either their fellow comrades or the people at home, then the soldier is not a murder. For most soldiers, killing and death is not a pretty sight, mentally or physically, whether it be one of their's or an enemy. Both involve countless hours of tortuous reflection. So, being a soldier not only risks one's physical life, but it also risks their emotional, mental, and/or social discomfort for years afterwards.
My final statement on this subject is this: support our troops for the countless risks they put themselves through to support us.
This is Timapheus Speak.

I can tell this is a topic close to your heart.
Teically, instead of where your tongue takes you, it would be your fingers! :) I also agree with what you are, eh typing. Very true!
